Isaac Rosenberg (1890 - 1917) is one of the
lesser known of the war poets, though he is considered to be one
of the finest.
Although some of Isaac's records were destroyed during the Second
World War, remaining records provide an insight into his life.
You can find out more about First World War service records -
the 'burnt documents' in The National Archives online exhibition
The
First World War.
We hope this site will provide you with some starting points
and some inspiration to trace your own family history.
